Professor Kokossis participated to the HIAS 2024 Symposium on Sustainability as a panelist, under the section ”Sustainable Industries”

On Thursday, July 4, the 3rd Annual Symposium of the Hellenic Institute for Advanced Studies (Hellenic Institute of Advanced Studies – HIAS) entitled “Bridges in Sustainability” was held at the  Eugenides Foundation Conference Center, with the participation of leading researchers and distinguished scientists from Greece and the diaspora, who discussed the promotion of research and innovation.

The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation supported for the third consecutive year the organization of the Symposium, as well as the implementation of the three-day “AI Summer School” which took place during July 1-3 in NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​.

The aim of these actions was to create a meeting place between science and society, the networking and cooperation of the academic and research community of Greece with the diaspora and the presentation of the latest innovative developments in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability.
